If you've been to the Adirondacks in Upstate New York, you know how special it is – with its high peaks, lakes, rivers and expansive wild spaces. Wilderness has a home there, and you can visit it and commune with it in your own way knowing it will provide in return. This art drop is an opening conversation with the Adirondacks, which we expect to return to again and again...
This is a limited release of prints, ending September 7, 2023, with no further production of this work for at least a year after the close.

The sound of loons drifts across the lake, much like the clouds that approach from the mountain ridge. This painterly photograph utilizes a dragged slow shutter to capture the ethereal sights and sounds of dusk falling over a lake in the Adirondacks.

This ‘lakescape’ encapsulates the changeable weather we experienced and the natural beauty it highlighted. On one particular hike there was a notable change in sound. A distant dappling became audible, growing nearer and louder until it was visible on the surface of the lake – and then inevitably the army of raindrops was upon us and we were drenched.
ARTWORK OPTIONS
Prints are available in 12 x 18”, 20 x 30” and 30 x 45” and include a white border to facilitate easy matting and framing.
If you are located in the United States we also offer a custom framing option for the 20 x 30” prints. These are framed with a white mat and a slim 3/4" white or natural frame. Once framed the 20 x 30” print measures 25 x 35".
