From an architectural perspective the organic, sculptural forms of these purple martin nest boxes in Connecticut reminded me of Jeanne Gang’s (Studio Gang) amazing design for the Gilder Center at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. If I was a purple martin I’d be very happy living here. If you haven’t been to the Gilder Center you should, it’s a must-see if you are in or near New York City.
