WHAT IS AN OPEN EDITION PRINT?
Open edition prints are not constrained by a predetermined number of copies, as limited editions are. As we don't mass-produce any of our prints, we generally prefer to offer open edition prints that we produce on request. These are giclée prints (also known as inkjets) on beautiful heavyweight luster photography paper, or if you prefer we also have Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm available on request. See our current price list.CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE SIZES IF I CHOOSE A WHITE BORDER?
The dimensions listed always refer to the size of the paper. If you select a white border the photographic image will be smaller within the chosen paper size to accommodate the border, whereas if you select a borderless print it will not – however adding a mat (aka passe-partout or window mount) to a borderless print means you will lose some of the image.HOW SHOULD I LOOK AFTER MY PRINT?
Firstly, we provide archival gloves with all print orders to help protect the artwork. If you are taking the print to your framer our recommendation (especially with large prints) is to not unpack the print yourself. Take it to your framer and unpack it there when you discuss your framing order with them. To preserve your print's life expectancy it should be matted and framed using archival (acid-free) materials. The artwork should not directly touch any glass or acrylic. Your photography print should be displayed on walls that avoid direct sunlight and extremes in temperature and/or humidity. If your artwork is avoiding the sun's ultraviolet rays, UV blocking glass or acrylic is not essential. We currently offer custom framing for 16 x 24” and 20 x 30” prints to buyers in the United States only.SHIPPING & CUSTOMS
Our prints are well protected within packaging designed to safeguard them from damage during transit.Prints delivered outside the United States will be subject to customs fees, import taxes, tariffs or duties. These are incurred at the time of delivery and are at the discretion of that country's customs regulations. As a buyer you are responsible for these charges. For any additional information please refer to your local customs agency. Returns will not be accepted due to these fees.
